Amazon Echo,is it a buy or a goodbye?

The Amazon Echo is a smart home speaker which has many capabilities to control smart home appliances and do everyday tasks, like ordering a Uber or ordering you a pizza. I personally own an Amazon Echo and Echo dot, I use them all the time! They are just great!

One of the most used feature of this speaker for me is that you can control Spotify and set alarms without even opening the app. You can download skills for the Echo, I have to admit my favourite skill is the farting one!

However there are some down sides for the Amazon Echos, the main thing you have to consider is that it is NOT portable and requires to be plugged in to a wall. Also it NEEDS to have WiFi connection to work at all. There is a Amazon Echo Tap which can be used offline but isn't voice controlled. When playing the radio on it you have to use TuneIn and cant listen to FM radio stations. At the moment you cant answer calls or text people without downloading a skill.
